The ordinance requires new cell towers and antennas to be at least 600 feet away from homes & schools. Debra Greene of Safe Tech Hawaii said it "paves the way" for other jurisdictions to follow suit.
This is good news, but it does not go far enough. At 600 feet away from a cell tower, you are 187 meters (m) away -- still within a danger zone, especially for children. In a Brazil study [ PMID: 21741680 ], being 200m away versus 300m away led to a statistically-significant increase in cancer deaths.
In a Nigerian study [ https://doi.org/10.1088/1742-6596/2034/1/012009 ], the overnight electric field strength from a cell tower at 150m -- which is close to the 183m limit in Hawaii -- was 9 V/m (21 micro-Watts per square-centimeter). But a third study in Saudi Arabia [ PMC6775553 ] found that kids in a school near a cell tower were getting 6 V/m (10 micro-Watts per square-centimer) and it harmed cognition.
By allowing cell towers as close as 183m to schools, kids in Hawaii may get exposed to more than the 6 V/m which harmed cognition in Saudi Arabia. In fact, they could get exposed to even 8 or possibly 9 V/m with a cell tower that is 183m away.
Use orgonite to reduce the harm done by cell phone towers. It is a very simple cheap solution available to local activists. Orgonite can be placed a few hundred fee from each tower and on your property between you and the tower. Active orgonite is not made for beauty but is a simple mixture of metal particles within organic material used in making jewelry.

I wonder if it was a good idea to get rid of our landlines and switch to cell phones. Due to these, there are coming more and more towers. If we all quit our cell phones, would they stop with that?
Most 5G towers will have lower power outputs than previous generations and be closer to the ground and closer together, for optimal reutilization of frequencies.
