About The Defender
The Defender is the online news and views website of Children’s Health Defense (CHD). We are an independent, reader-supported nonprofit media source that produces content aligned with CHD’s mission. We report on news and opinions that advertiser-supported corporate media often censors or ignores.
What we deliver
The Defender reports on how Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Energy, Big Food, and Big Chemical subvert and corrupt U.S. and global regulatory agencies, the scientific research arms of academic institutions, the media — and by extension, the democratic process.
Our reporting reveals how greed-driven corporate corruption has led U.S. and global regulatory agencies — which are supposed to protect us — to instead prioritize corporate profits over public health and especially, the health of our children.
We also expose the censorship that serves corporate and authoritarian interests and now defines nearly every corporate news and social media platform — imperiling our ideals, our values, and our democracy, and trampling our liberty.
