America's 18 intelligence agencies have been spying on us since long before cellphones.

". . . the study authors are engineers, not ethicists. “Their job is to figure out how to make things work, usually without much thought about the ethical implications of the machines they build."

No worries. Ethicists don't give much thought about ethical implications, either. Ask Christine Grady, Fauci's wife.

I wonder if the clothing with silver technology would help with this?Obviously getting rid of the towers would be the best strategy but that's not likely.

Trump will in all likelihood be on board with this as it would align with being able to survey "criminals" or undocumented people.

And what exactly is the criteria for who is a criminal and who is not? Trump wants to usher in peace.

Either way you know this technology is here to stay -doesn't matter who's sitting in the office...

Get your silver clothing people.

What kind of "silver technology" would help with it?

Look up EMF protective clothing it's everywhere. Some tech is better than others so I look for ones with great reviews.

EMPs do not have any biological effects.

EMP protective clothing is snake oil.

Dozes of studies on EMF. So EMP's are hazardous as well.

Do a search in Google scholar. Regular Google says they're fine of course.

EMF is measured in volts.

EMP is measured in micro and milliamps.

Google is the world's premier marketer of AI hallucination.

Electromagnetic frequencies or EMF cause a massive influx of calcium into the cell over exciting the cell. It absolutely has a destructive biological effect, but especially over time. One of which is heart arrhythmia. There are multiple studies on EMF and it's destructiveness to biological organisms.

EMF stands for electromagnetic force, which is routinely known as voltage, a characteristic of electricity. Without electricity, nothing would exist.

"EMPs do not have any biological effects."

Can confirm. Been hit by lightening dozens of times and nothing happened to me.

EMP and lightning are not remotely similar.

Proper grounding is the best protection against lightning and of no use against EMP.

Lightning is a type of electromagnetic pulse.

There is something so wonderful about living out in the Canadian bush - 30 miles from nearest town, no line-of-sight to a cell tower.... keeping eyes out for various , honest predators when we walk the dogs along trails in the woods.... bears in summer, moose, caribou, wolves, coyotes and the odd lynx in winter.... no radiation close by.

Boy, I have the feeling that 'Cell Towers May Soon Be Spying on You" is NOT CORRECT, that is like geoengineering, going on already, for quite a while....

Add to this more about the AI's weaponry:

quote:

Google has dropped its commitment to never use AI for weapons or surveillance, rewriting its AI principles to allow national security applications.

Alphabet execs argue "democracies should lead in AI development", pushing for closer collaboration between tech firms and governments.

The shift comes ahead of a $75B AI investment, as Google races to dominate the AI arms race.

Critics warn this undoes past ethical commitments, while supporters say it’s a necessary move in a changing geopolitical landscape.

=> so basically corporations decided suddenly to have the right to kill..?

Did bibi' indeed have a special gift to President Trump??? The golden Ihone??? The same which blew up the hamas pockets???

Stay ALERT!

Many people don't realize that finding the location of a cell phone is required for the technology to work. Operators and governments can use this information unless there are laws to prevent this. It's a legal problem not a technical problem. It's also a problem that people don't power their phones down.

What you describe here in this article is however something different. It's basically using the now omnipresent radio frequencies (RF) as a kind of light. All that the engineers have shown is that this RF light can be used to identify objects that absorb such light (humans).

Sunlight could be used to surveil people without their knowledge. It's called video surveillance but it would not produce the same scary headlines.

I think it is important to note that these sorts of technologies as is AI are theoretically (in practical terms) only limited by the availability of computing power. Given enough computing power and data AI for example can tell all sorts of things about all sorts of things merely by recognizing patterns etc. Some, perhaps most of those patterns would be beyond the recognition skill of a human brain and completely unintuitive.

Surely I don't understand the issue completely but I'm sure I have plenty of company in that.

Point is, they keep warning us about the ENORMOUS amounts of power that will be needed to power data centers and the GPUs & CPUs sniffing and crunching that data to ultimately produce something called "AI". All the 5/6 G "sensors" and tolls in the world can't do squat (except perhaps give you cancer and make your tinnitus worse) without the GPU/CPU machine cycles to crunch all that information. AND THAT TAKES POWER. LOTS of it.

They continually talk about how much power this will take so I'd assume that one can anticipate that in the future the overloaded power grid and destroyed ecosystems from mega dams etc will be to fuel the surveillance and control grid rather than run the trolleys etc as electricity was used for in the past. Pretty sobering to realize that the day may come when THE MAJORITY of power demand may be funneled off to surveil and control you. The demand for keeping your house warm and keeping the elevators elevating may become a small secondary load.

"...The experiments showed the design was highly effective at sensing three different hand gestures..."

Wonder if it can detect the middle finger gesture?

If so there goes the last vestige of freedom of expression.

The freedom of speech ship sailed long ago.

But at least we could close the door or pull the curtain and surreptitiously express ourselves through gestures if for no other reason but to manage our stress.

NOW how're we going to manage?

Going to have to take up yoga or something.

Spying, surveillance, reprogramming, predicting, engineering, the AI future already in your toilet paper and between your bedsheets, but…that’s been the case since our ancestors put some fire in their caves. What’s new then? We’re still Neanderthalers as unconscious and living a program that for 99,99% is repetitive. The potential of a fully realised human being is not the automaton, the robot or the zombie. The difference between a schizophrenic, a psychotic, a delusional being and what we think of being superior is only a matter of degree of quantity not quality. Let’s continue sleepwalking, the metaphysical deep sleep.
