5.3% serious events is much higher than 3.6% serious events! A 47% increase in serious events is serious, and definitely is NOT a reason to lower the age limit! I would call this approval treasonous.

It's not just ACIP who needs to go, the head of the FDA should be fired as well,all of them immediately. Why? Because HHS put out a procedure that they promised to follow when approving vaccines. This procedure was both ignored and violated. This is called insubordination. In the cases where this behavior has occurred, other people's lives, including children's lives have been put at risk. This is ethically reprehensible.
If the people in your agency put other people's lives at risk by their actions, they should be asked to go, leaving all their equipment behind, taking only personal items so that it can be determined who gave the order to countermand the original policy.
That's what should happen. We aren't talking about some minor policy issue here. We are talking about violating a policy that will end in great harm and/or death. Is there some reason to keep such people around 1 minute longer?
