How could they ban tobacco and whiskey ads and not Death Shots???

The SEC should be able to stop them, at least on public airways.

Of course USA can ban pharmaceutical advertisements, IF there is a will to do so. Australian governments (of both left and right philosophy) first limited tobacco printed advertisements during the 1980's then banned all tv and newspaper adverts followed by mandatory graphic illustrations on cancers related to smoking on all tobacco packaging. Tobacco products cannot be sold to minors and stocks of tobacco products cannot be displayed at point of sale - they are stored in cabinets that locked are not in reach of customers. Advertisements for alcohol are limited as is (to some extent) promotion of gambling. Prescription pharmaceutical product advertising is limited to package display at point of sale in a pharmacy and promotion of other over the counter medicinals is also limited; both definitely NOT on tv. So it can be done!
